Are these signatures legally binding?

Yes. Every signature is ESIGN and UETA compliant. We capture the signer's name, IP address, timestamp, document hash, and consent text — the standard audit trail courts and adjusters expect.

Can clients sign from their phone?

Yes. They can draw with their finger on a touchscreen, type their name, or use a mouse on desktop. The signature is captured as a PNG and embedded in the signed PDF.

What if the document gets changed after signing?

It can't, without breaking the hash. We hash the estimate at signing time and store it. Any change to the document fails verification — so a tampered version is detectable.
