Terms of Service
Last updated: August 14, 2026
The short version
- • You own your work, your content, and your client list.
- • We provide the software. We're not a party to your jobs.
- • You're responsible for the work you do and the promises you make to your clients.
Who these terms are for
These terms apply to two groups, and they apply a little differently to each:
- Pros: if you create a Homefront Pro account to run your business, these are the full terms between you and us.
- Homeowners: if you're viewing an estimate, signing a document, or paying an invoice through a pro's portal, you don't need an account, but by using the portal you agree to the Acceptable Use and E-Signature sections below.
About these terms
These Terms of Service are an agreement between you and the operator of Homefront Pro at homefront.pro ("Homefront Pro," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account, subscribing, or using the service or a client portal, you agree to these terms. If you use the service for a business, you confirm that you can agree on that business's behalf.
Your account
- You must be at least 18 to open a Pro account.
- Keep your account info accurate, especially your license, insurance, and business details that your clients will see.
- You're responsible for everything that happens under your login. Protect your password.
- Tell us right away through our support form if you think your account has been accessed by someone else.
What Homefront Pro is
Homefront Pro is software for running a home service business, including estimates, invoices, a client portal, e-signatures, and online payments.
We are nota party to any contract between you and your clients. We don't provide licensing, bonding, insurance, or legal advice. You are responsible for:
- Holding the right licenses and insurance for the work you do.
- Following all local, state, and federal laws.
- The accuracy of your estimates, invoices, and anything else you send to clients.
- Paying taxes on money you earn.
- The quality and safety of the work you perform.
Subscription and billing
- The standard web price for the Pro plan is $19 per month in US dollars. We offer a 14-day free trial. The price and terms shown when you subscribe control if they differ from this page.
- A free trial does not automatically charge you. If you choose to subscribe, the subscription renews monthly until you cancel.
- Web and Android subscriptions are managed through Settings. iOS subscriptions are billed by Apple and must be managed through your Apple account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not provide refunds or credits for partial billing periods unless required by law.
- If we change the web subscription price, we'll give you notice before the new price takes effect. Apple purchases are subject to Apple's billing rules.
- Taxes may be added where required.
- If a payment fails, we may retry the charge and notify you. If we cannot collect payment, we may suspend or end access.
Payments to you (Stripe Connect)
When clients pay through Homefront Pro, Stripe processes the payment through the pro's connected Stripe account. Homefront Pro provides software that helps initiate those payments; it is not a bank, money transmitter, or a party to the transaction between a pro and a client.
- Stripe's terms apply to those payouts. We don't control their process.
- Stripe and the connected account control payment processing, payouts, refunds, and chargebacks under their terms.
- Pros are responsible for their agreements with clients, including refunds, chargebacks, and disputes. We may help you locate payment details, but we do not decide the outcome.
- Stripe may charge processing fees, and Homefront Pro may charge a platform fee if one is disclosed in the payment flow.
Your content
You own everything you upload: estimates, invoices, photos, documents, client lists, your logo, all of it. To run the service, you give us a limited license to store it, display it to you and the clients you share it with, and process it as needed.
You're responsible for having the right to upload whatever you upload (photos of other people's property, your logo, client info, etc.).
You can use the available export and account-deletion tools. Some information may be retained as described in the Privacy Policy.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use Homefront Pro for illegal work or fraud.
- Impersonate another person or business, or misrepresent your licensing or insurance.
- Send spam or unwanted messages to people who haven't hired you.
- Try to reverse-engineer the service, scrape it, or break into accounts that aren't yours.
- Upload viruses, malware, or anything that could harm other users.
- Resell the service or offer it as your own product.
If you do any of the above, we can suspend or close your account without refund.
E-signatures
Homefront Pro lets people sign certain records electronically. Electronic signatures may be valid under applicable law, but the enforceability of a document depends on the document, transaction, parties, and applicable law. We do not provide legal advice.
Before signing, the signer must take an affirmative action to consent to electronic signing. We record signature details, consent text, date and time, IP address, browser details, and a document hash to support the signing record.
A client who does not want to sign electronically should not sign the document and should ask the pro about a paper alternative. Pros are responsible for deciding whether their documents require additional disclosures, consent, retention, or delivery steps.
Third-party services
Homefront Pro uses Stripe, Apple, RevenueCat, Resend, Twilio, Cloudflare, Google, Mapbox, Vercel, and other providers to run the service. When you use a feature that depends on one of them, that provider's terms and privacy practices may also apply.
Service availability
We aim for high uptime but don't guarantee the service will be available 100% of the time. We may do scheduled maintenance, usually outside business hours, and we'll try to give you notice for anything major.
Termination
- You can close your account anytime from Settings or by sending us a message through our support form.
- We can suspend or close your account if you violate these terms, if your account is being used for fraud, or if keeping it open would put us or other users at risk.
- After termination, you may lose access to your data. Download material you need before closing your account. Our retention of information after termination is described in the Privacy Policy.
Disclaimers
Homefront Pro is provided as is and as available. We don't make any warranties about the service being error-free, uninterrupted, or fit for a particular purpose, to the fullest extent allowed by law.
We're not responsible for the quality of the work pros do, for payments pros do or don't make, or for disputes between pros and homeowners.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, our total liability to you for any claim related to Homefront Pro is capped at the greater of $100 or the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, like lost profits, lost data, or lost business, even if we've been told those could happen.
Some states don't allow these kinds of limits, so parts of this section might not apply to you.
Indemnification
You agree to defend and indemnify Homefront Pro against any claim, loss, or cost that comes from:
- The work you do for your clients.
- Content you upload or send through the service.
- Your violation of these terms or any law.
- Your misuse of another person's rights (including intellectual property).
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
Most disputes between you and us will be resolved by binding, individual arbitration in Georgia, administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under the AAA rules that apply to the claim. You and we waive the right to a jury trial and to participate in a class action, except where that waiver cannot be enforced.
Either of us can still bring a claim in small-claims court if it qualifies. For anything that can't be arbitrated, you agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Georgia.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. For meaningful changes, we'll email you before they take effect. For small edits, we'll just update the date at the top. If you keep using Homefront Pro after changes take effect, that means you accept the new terms.
Miscellaneous
- These terms are the entire agreement between you and Homefront Pro about the service.
- If a court decides any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies.
- If we don't enforce a right right away, that doesn't mean we gave it up.
- You can't transfer your account or these terms to someone else without our written OK. We can transfer them if we sell or merge the business.
